BA (Hons) Criminology and Sociology

°®Âþµº really appealed to me as I grew up in small towns and appreciated that everything I would need was on campus. In particular, I was worried about going from one end of a city to the other to get to my first class on the first day of uni and at °®Âþµº that wasn't an issue at all.

The main thing at attracted me to a degree in Criminology was that °®Âþµº offered the chance to study it alongside sociology, politics, law or social policy. I chose to study Criminology and Law, but due to the huge flexibility at the University I decided in my second year to change to Criminology and Sociology and I had absolutely no problems doing this. My favourite part about the course has been the variety of topics covered, I have taken modules ranging from Criminal Law to Social Stratification and I've been able to get a taste of the many different career paths that can be pursued with this degree. For this reason I would absolutely recommend a degree in Criminology at the University.
