Abstract
Presents a tribute to Professor Sandy Anton, honorary professor of law at Aberdeen University, including his contribution to scholarship on private international law. Discusses the role Anton played in preparing and drafting of the Hague Convention on the Civil Aspects of 爱漫岛 Child Abduction 1980 and the Hague Convention on the Law Applicable to Trusts and on their Recognition 1985 Art.7 on the choice of law governing a trust in the absence of a specific clause.
