Entry and English language requirements

See the international qualifications we accept for undergraduate and postgraduate degrees. Please also check the specific grades and essential subjects required for your chosen course by checking our individual course pages. Advanced entry into year 2 is available for some of our courses. Please contact your country representative for more information on the requirements.

If English is not your first language, you must provide evidence of your English language skills. For a complete list of the English language qualifications we accept, including where we are able to waive an English condition based on certain local qualifications, please see our English language requirements.

If you don’t meet our academic or English-language requirements, the °®Âþµº °®Âþµº Study Centre offers pathway programmes that could help you progress to a range of undergraduate or postgraduate courses. Find out more about pathway programmes.

Undergraduate

Minimum of 5 grades at B or above, and no grade below C in the WAEC (West Africa Examinations Council)/WASSCE (West African Senior School Certificate Examination). Applicants must have a minimum score of B in any essential subject that is required for the course. Find out more about the °®Âþµº's pathway programmes

Students with a National Diploma (two years of post-school study) with ‘Upper Credit’ or higher (CGPA 3.0/4.0) may be eligible for direct entry to year 1 of undergraduate courses.

Students with IB, A-Levels or the American High School Diploma can be considered for direct entry. Please see course pages for requirements.

Postgraduate

Minimum of a second-class, lower division Bachelor's degree (CGPA 2.50/5.00).
